Warrior Wear

When I was first diagnosed, I found myself buying jewelry I'd never before considered "my style" -- big, showy silver bracelets and necklaces and hoop earrings. Wearing them, I felt powerful and courageous and very confident.

During chemo, when my red blood cell and hemoglobin counts dropped, my husband bought me hematite necklaces. I swear they helped my body recover its iron-making abilities.

As I've continued on my healing journey, I've started designing my own Warrior Wear -- which I want to share with you.

My Warrior Wear designs use natural stones, each one chosen for its association with a particular chakra:

Root Chakra -- Survival and courage and grounding

Sacral Chakra -- Emotional balance/sexuality

Solar Plexus -- Personal power, self will

Heart Chakra -- Giving and receiving love

Throat Chakra -- Self expression

Third Eye Chakra -- Intuition, wisdom

Crown Chakra -- Spirituality and higher self

Depending on which chakra(s) you need to energize, you may find yourself drawn to different Warrior Wear designs at different times during your journey.

While we ultimately want all our chakras fully open and functioning, as a breast cancer survivor, I've found that I need to pay special attention to my root, sacral, solar plexus, heart, and throat chakras. So that's why you'll find most of my Warrior Wear designs focused on those chakras.

Each Warrior Wear set includes a necklace and earrings (with sterling silver earwires).

Each Warrior Wear set is unique -- I never make two necklaces exactly alike.
